RE: OLD RECREATION BUS
Attached is a memorandum from Jim Beech regarding the old Recreation bus and his attempt
to give it to a non-profit organization for continued use.
In the case of either giving it away or selling it at auction, the City Commission must first
declare this bus surplus prior to either occurring. This item on the Agenda is to declare it
surplus and to publicize the fact that this still operational bus is available to any non-profit
group that could use it prior to having to sell it at auction.

Re: Old Recreation Bus
Presidents of both the Bulldog Football Program and the Little
League Program have expressed that because of insurance, parking
facility, and little usage of bus during their seasons they are
not interested in the old 1966 Recreation bus.
I have also tried, but have been unsuccessful, in contacting the
Ocoee Christian Service Center.
I would suggest that the City sell the bus. All paperwork and tag
has been transferred to the new bus and the old bus should be
taken off the insurance program.
Please advise as to further action you would like for me to take
on this matter.
