Background Summary:
Members of the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department (CACOPD) serve three-year
terms. The Resolution creating the Board allows no more than fifteen (15) members. Currently the
board has nine (9) members.
One application has been received by Knox Anderson who has shown an interest in being appointed
to the CACOPD for a term ending January 2022.
Issue:
Should Mr. Anderson be appointed to the CACOPD Board to serve a three-year term ending January
2022?
Recommendations:
Staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners consider appointing
Mr. Anderson to serve on the CACOPD Board for a three-year term ending January 2022.
