Background Prairie Lake Village Phase 3 is a 36 lot addition to the Prairie Lake Subdivision being developed off Clarke Road north of A.D. Mims Road. In connection with approval of the Plat of Prairie Lake Village Phase I, as recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 69, Public Records of Orange County, Florida, the current owner's predecessor -in -interest conveyed easements for drainage and utility purposes to the City, as recorded in O.R. Book 5076, Page 4483, and O.R. Book 5076, Page 4487, all in the Public Records of Orange County, Florida (collectively, the "Easements"). Village Phase 1, and the Plat as reviewed and recommended for approval by Staff contemplates that these Easements will be terminated. Further, a utility easement across an unplatted portion of the subdivision is required to serve Phase 3. Accordingly, Staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners take the following actions: 1) approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Termination of Easement Agreement attached hereto, subject to approval of the Plat of Prairie Lake Village Phase 3; and 2) approve the Plat of Prairie Lake Village Phase 3, subject to execution of a Utility Easement acceptable to the City and approval, execution, and recording of the Termination of Easement Agreement.
