MEMORANDUM
DATE: October 11, 1999
TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners
FROM: Ellis Shapiro
City Manager
RE: RODENT PROBLEM
Pursuant to Don Flippen, Chief Building Official, he has advised me that he has been in
contact with Orange County regarding the accessibility of traps and poison for the
rodent problem in the area.
Orange County has advised that they currently have no traps or poison left but plan to
have a new shipment in by Wednesday or Thursday of this week. At that time, they
intend to give us a large quantity of these materials so that City Hall will be in a position
to pass out to our residents the material they need to stem this problem.
Respectfully submitted,
