(407)656-2322 CITY MANAGER lE Of 0009 ELLIS SHAPIRO MEMORANDUM TO: The Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners FROM: Mark W. Brace, CPPB, Buyer , DATE: January 09, 1996 RE: DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY Several months ago I asked for a listing from the Departments of all items that they considered as excess, i.e. , items that were no longer useful or were in such condition that repair costs would exceed replacement costs. After receiving these lists of items, the Departments were given an opportunity to review the list and to request those items that would be useful in their day-to-day routines or perhaps for those items that they may have had a plan to purchase new. The requested items have been duly filled. Declaration of Surplus does not require a Resolution or Ordinance and needs only to be agreed upon by motion from the Mayor and Board of City Commissioners. After a successful passing of a motion, a Public Auction will be duly advertised and held within a reasonable amount of time.
