RE: Spring Lake/Lake Johio Drainage Basin Study
"FINAL"Submittal
Dear Mr. Shapiro:
It is with great pleasure that PEC/Professional Engineering Consultants is able to transmit
with this letter the "FINAL"Engineering Report for the aforementioned project. As part of this
"FINAL"submittal, please find enclosed the following documents:
• Volume I (Introduction, Existing Conditions, Recommended improvements, Capital
Improvement Program, and Water Budget Analysis); and
• Volume II (Valence, adICPR analysis, Project Survey, Supporting Documentation, and
Project Correspondence).
It is recommended that PEC/Professional Engineering Consultants "update/amend" the
existing conditions computer model contained within this basin study, based on any
proposed development submitted to the City of Ocoee Engineering Department for review
and approval (e.g., Spring Lake Oaks and/or Lake Johio Shores Subdivision).
Updating/amending of this master analysis will better determine the impact of the proposed
development on the Basin as a whole, and will utilize the most accurate and up to date
information currently available for this area.
Per your direction, we have not transmitted copies of the "FINAL"Engineering Report to City
Commissioners at this time, and will wait for your instruction as to how copies will be
provided in the near future. Furthermore, at the City's request, PEC/Professional Engineering
Consultants will conduct one (1) public workshop or presentation to the City Commission,
or City staff, of the existing conditions analysis and recommended improvements which are
contained within the "FINAL"submittal of the Spring Lake/Lake Johio Drainage Basin Study.
