They were initially appointed March 1992 and September 1999, respectively. Both are willing to serve new terms, should you wish to reappoint them. Alternate Member James Ward resigned in an e-mail to Mr. Harper dated November 5, 2001. His term would have ended May 2002. Three citizens interested in serving on this board have submitted applications: Scott Kimbrell (District 2), Jeffrey Roach (District 4), and JoAnne Jensen (District 2). (You may recall that Mrs. Jensen previously served on this board from April 1999 to July 2000, resigning due to a temporary move out of state.) Staff Recommendation Should they wish to do so, Staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners: 1. Reappoint Member Resnik to serve a term ending May 2005. 2. Reappoint Member Savino to serve a term ending May 2005. 3. Employment: 1976— 1977 While still attending college, I worked with one of the Architectural/Rendering instructors after classes performing Pen and Ink renderings for residential presentations. 1976— 1977 Worked with the Dan Knoble Homes Group generating Residential home drawings. 1977 —2000 Employed with Dittmer Architectural Aluminum. Started with performing all drafting services. This included all shop drawings for architectural review and approval to internal fabrication drawings. Advanced into estimating within two years and working with outside sales. This in turn branched into trade shows, construction conferences, all architectural calls, national marketing and research and development for new product lines. Duties also included overseeing all engineering functions and CADD department. The last six years was concentrated on all "high profile"projects. This involved architectural design assistance, bidding and contract negotiations. I worked under a project manager status during the length of each of these contracts along with performing my regular duties. 2000— Employed with Peachtree Protective Covers. Regional manager for the state of Florida and the Caribbean. Duties include follow-up on projects bid(contract closure), architectural meetings, marketing the existing product line and develop new lines. 2001 - Duties for Peachtree Protective Covers have expanded into National Marketing and Product Development along with the prior duties.
