RE: Recision of SunTrust Development Permit
Processing Agreement
At the City Commission meeting of March 19, 1996, the
City Commission approved a Development Permit Processing Agreement
with SunTrust Bank, Central Florida, N.A. and Zom Lake Bennett,
Ltd. The proposed Agreement related to the bank facility currently
being constructed by SunTrust within Lake Bennett Center.
Following the City Commission meeting it was determined by City
staff that the Processing Agreement was not needed as was
anticipated at the time of presentation to the City Commission. As
a result, it has not been executed by the City. In order to clean
up the City records regarding this Agreement, it is necessary that
it be rescinded by the City Commission. This action has no effect
on SunTrust as the provisions of the Processing Agreement have not
been implemented.
RECOMMENDATION
It respectfully is recommended that the Mayor and City
Commissioners rescind that certain Development Permit Processing
Agreement between SunTrust Bank, Central Florida, N.A. , Zom Lake
Bennett, Ltd. and the City, as approved by the City on March 19,
1996 .
