You may recall that the materials sent to you at that time included Chapter 15 of the City Code which governs this board. Section 15-4.E. provides that "failure to attend more than two regularly scheduled consecutive meetings without an authorized absence shall be grounds for automatic removal from the Board." Mr. Nordquist has notified us that you have missed the last three meetings and that he has been unable to reach you, so, regretfully, it has become necessary to remove you from the membership of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. We do understand that extenuating circumstances prevent members from attending Board meetings and we regret that your schedule has prevented you from participating in this Board's activities. If your situation changes and you wish to be considered for appointment in the future, please feel free to contact our office for a new application.
