Shira, P.E., City Engineer/Utilities Director Subject: Closing of Lakeshore Drive In accordance with the attached memo to the city manager, Lakeshore Drive was closed between the boat ramp and the culvert in the north boundary of the city hall site. This was done as an emergency action. We are requesting your approval of this emergency action and your permission to allow the road to remain closed until the water level is in the lake down below the elevation of the road. Both drain wells are open. The standing water on Lakeshore Drive is causing unsafe conditions for motorists. The traffic committee requests permission to close Lakeshore Drive from the bridge to the boat ramp until the water recedes to a safe level.
