SCOTT VANDERGRIFT, MAYOR 5 YEARS GARRETT L. BELL On September 7, 1995 Garrett Bell began working as a Police Officer for the City of Ocoee Police Department. Garrett has a degree in Aviation but Police work is where he wants to be. Garrett enjoys family time at the Beach, walking along at Lake Bola and attending Orlando Baptist Church. Along with his plaque, Garrett will receive a$50.00 gift certificate to spend at West Oaks Mall and a Beautiful City Watch. SERVICE AWARD SEPTEMBER 19,2000 PRESENTED BY: S. SCOTT VANDERGRIFT, MAYOR 5 YEARS INES L. POLANCO On September 11, 1995 Ines Polanco began with the City of Ocoee as a School Crossing Guard. Whether it is raining, snowing or sunny out, Ines can be counted on to get our children safely to school. Ines loves camping and fishing with her husband. She has a beautiful grandson named Brandon whom she loves to spoil and spend time with. Along with her plaque, Ines will receive a magnificent City Watch and a gift certificate in the amount of$50.00 to spend at Toys "R" Us. SERVICE AWARD SEPTEMBER 19, 2000 PRESENTED BY: S. SCOTT VANDERGRIFT,MAYOR 15 YEARS WILLIAM "DOUG" DUNCAN On July 11, 1985 Doug Duncan began working for the City of Ocoee in the Sanitation Department as a part-time collector. On September 2, 1985 Doug became a full-time collector. On June 18, 1987 Doug was given the newly created position of Building Maintenance Repairperson. On October 1, 1989 he was given the position of Building Maintenance Repairperson II. On June 18, 1991 he became a Custodial Worker II. On October 1, 1993 Doug became a Facilities Maintenance Worker II and on February 16, 1995 became a Laborer. On October 1, 1997 Doug became a Maintenance Worker I where he remains to this day. Doug lovesto Bowl and he is proud to be working for the City and he is proud of everything he has done for the City. Along with his very stunning, and magnificent City Watch, Doug will receive a $150.00 gill certificate to spend at the West Oaks Mall.
