She has also been our Student of the Month, a Math Student of the Month, a Gold Shield Recipient for maintaining straight 'A's and an English Student of the Quarter. While earning this recognition,Nateya participates in track and field,Marching and Symphonic Band, Interact Club, and the Macedonia Baptist Church Youth Orchestra. She is a YMCA Black Achiever, a member of the YMCA Teen Advisory Board,the National Latin Club, and a participant on our award winning Odyssey of the Mind team. With all this activity, she still finds time to do volunteer hours, working through her church and through the different organizations of which she is an active member.
