To whom it may concern,
It is indeed a pleasure and a privilege to ask for your support of such an outstanding West
Orange High School student. Nateya Carrington is one of those students who makes me
happy that I have chosen the field of education as my vocation. She is goal driven and
works hard to achieve her goals.
I had the good fortune of naming her our Disney Dreamer and Doer while she was a
student at the West Orange Ninth Grade Center. She has also been our Student of the
Month, a Math Student of the Month, a Gold Shield Recipient for maintaining straight
'A's and an English Student of the Quarter. While earning this recognition,Nateya
participates in track and field,Marching and Symphonic Band, Interact Club, and the
Macedonia Baptist Church Youth Orchestra. She is a YMCA Black Achiever, a member
of the YMCA Teen Advisory Board, the National Latin Club, and a participant on our
award winning Odyssey of the Mind team.
With all this activity, she still finds time to do volunteer hours, working through her
church and through the different organizations of which she is an active member. She is
the type of student that we would all like to be. I hope that you will find it in your hearts
to support her as she works to attend the inauguration of the Presidential Classroom in
Washington D.C. Please contact me at (407) 905-2410 if you have any questions. Thank
you for your consideration of one of West Orange's best and brightest-Nateya
Carrington.
Sincerely,
Michael Armbruster
Principal
