RE:
Multimedia/Community Events Manager
ISSUE
The City's community programs and events now require a greater level of professional public
relations experience than we currently have on staff.
BACKGROUNDIDISCUSSION
The Office of the City Manager is proposing restructuring the TV Operations Manager's position
assigning the more repetitive production aspects to freelance personnel, then adding professional
public relations duties to the position to address the City's expanded community events/functions
need.
The division's budget currently includes the financial resources to cover the freelance personnel.
The salary range for the restructured position will remain the same so there will be no additional
