Mr. Golden served as an alternate member from June 1998 to February 1999 when the alternate positions were abolished. He was appointed again June 2000 and has attended 25 of 27 meetings during his current term. Mrs. Riffe was appointed September 2001 and has attended 9 of 9 meetings since her appointment. Both are willing to serve a new term, should Commission wish to reappoint them. Attached are eight applications indicating interest in serving on Planning and Zoning Commission. For District 2: Brad Friel, Martha Lopez-Anderson, Fred Wilsen, and JoAnne Jensen. For District 4: Jeffrey Roach, Dennis Chen, Bradley Campbell, and Michael Barnes. Mr. Wilsen is currently a member on Board of Adjustment, Mr. Chen, the Education Commission, and Mr. Barnes, the CACOPD. Staff Recommendation Should they wish to do so, staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners: 1. Appoint Mr. Golden, or his successor, for a new three-year term ending September 2005. 2. I have changed employers since my appointment and my new employer will not allow me to attend the day time meetings. So I have no choice but to resign.
