Jean Grafton, City Clerk Date: June 11, 2002 Re: Appointments to Code Enforcement Board (3 year terms) (City residents only) The term of Randy Chancey will end June 2002, and the term of David "Kent" Skiles will end August 2002. Mr. Chancey has served since April 1997 and has attended 29 of 35 meetings. Mr. Skiles has served since September 1995 and has attended 16 of 31 meetings. Both are willing to serve new terms should Commission wish to reappoint them. We have no current applications requesting Code Enforcement Board as a first choice. Attached are applications submitted by Dennis Chen (District 4) which lists CEB as a second choice, and by James Fleming (District 2) and Jeffrey Roach (District 4) which list CEB as a third choice. You may wish to note that Mr. Chen and Mr. Roach now serve on Education Commission, and Mr. Fleming lists Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals as his first choice. Mr. Fleming's is the only application received to date for the Construction Board. Staff Recommendation Should they wish to do so, Staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners: 1.
