SUBJECT: WAIVER OF FEES REQUEST 1111
THE GRACE COMMUNITY OF FAITH CHURCH
ISSUE:
Should the Mayor and City Commissioners grant fee waivers to The Grace Community of Faith
Church? (See attached letter.)
BACKGROUND:
The property is located on 7 acres of land near Johio Shores Road along Silver Star Road.
DISCUSSION:
If the Mayor and City Commission grant the requested waiver, the following flat fees will be
waived according to the City of Ocoee Development Review Fees adopted August 6, 2002
(Resolution No. 2002-15):
Annexation & Rezoning $ 500.00
Special Exception $1,000.00
Review Deposit $1,000.00
TOTAL $2,500.00
Additionally, Attorney&Advertising fees normally charged to projects would need to be
absorbed out of the General Fund if all fees are waived.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Commission, at its sole discretion, may waive fees for non-profit organizations.

Honorable Members of the Council:
I am pleased to announce to you that The Grace Community of Faith Church is coming
'ri to the City of Ocoee. Grace Community of Faith has purchase 7 acres of land near lohio
aM -- f'lt-ftee,. Shores along Silver Star Road. The church plans to develop the property by building a
; .,4 .r,e . 4- Multipurpose Facility and Sanctuary for use by its members as well as the community.

building people of Faith,Giving them Hope and Loving them.
