SUBJECT: Job Description Review
The Commission has requested that new and revised job descriptions be reviewed and
approved by discussion under the consent agenda. Pursuant to that request, we are
requesting review and approval by the Commission of a resolution reversing Resolution
91-03.
The Human Resources Department has reviewed the request and recommends
approval of this action.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, REVERSING
RESOLUTION 91-03 REQUIRING ADOPTING AND APPROVING
JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR CITY POSITIONS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Whereas, the City Commission of the City of Ocoec no longer desires to adopt and approve job
descriptions for City positions by Resolution; and
Whereas,job descriptions setting forth the duties and responsibilities of each City employment
position may he reviewed by and approved by the City Commission by consent agenda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OCOEE, FLORIDA,as follows:
Section 1. Authority. The City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida has the authority to
adopt this Resolution pursuant to Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Florida and
Chapter 166, Florida Statutes.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this
Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining hereto.
Section 3. Effective Date. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and
adoption.
