RE: Change Order to City Hall Carpet Contract
ISSUE:
Should the Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners approve a change order to the City
Hall carpet contract for an additional 43 square yards of carpet on the second floor?
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
Due to excessive noise created by the existing tile flooring in the upstairs waiting area between the
elevator and the City Manager's office, it is proposed that the area be carpeted as part of the current
renovations. The cost to add 43 square yards of carpet is $537.07, and funds are available in account
317-519-00-6302.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully requested that the Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners approve this
change order.
