Parker, District 4 MEMORANDUM TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners FROM: Russ Wagner, AICP, Community Development Director .fro DATE: June 24, 2004 RE: Villas of Woodsmere Extension, Project# CP-01-01-04 On March 16 2004, the Mayor and City Commissioners approved the Conceptual Plan for the Villas of Woodsmere. This is the 6.4-acre project located west of Good Homes Road,just south of Rose Hill, planned for 64 townhouse units. Condition of Approval #2 of that approval stipulates that a Preliminary Subdivision Plan for the project be submitted within 90 days of the City Commission action unless the Commission grants an extension. Per the Attached letter, dated June 7, 2004, the prospective developer of the Villas of Woodsmere is requesting a 90-day extension for the Conceptual Approval for his project in order to complete the Preliminary Subdivision Plan. Staff is confident that this developer is seriously moving forward with this project and recommends approval of the 90-day extension. Condition No.2 of the approved plan requires submittal of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan within 90 days of the City Commission approval date. Our client is in the process of diligently preparing a Preliminary Subdivision Plan and a Final Site Plan for the referenced project but is requiring additional time to provide a sufficient application.
