VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Week of January 6 Date and time TBD Meet with West Oaks Mall Team at the Food Court
to discuss the set up for the MLK Day Celebration
Friday, January 17 at 11 a.m. West Oaks Mall Food Court
The WO Mall Team will have the stage set up. Vendors will deliver and set up chairs,
pole drapery, HRDB banner and audio system. City staff will deliver the podium and
American and Ocoee flags
An audio system sound check will be conducted
Discuss and finalize event day logistics
Event Day - Monday, January 20:
Citrus Elementary School Arrive at 8 a.m.
Parade Line-up, work with Police Explorers
Registration sign-in table, distribute vehicle numbers
Refreshments table
West Oaks Mall Food Court MLK Day Celebration Arrive at 8 a.m.
The audio system, stage, flags, pole drapery, HRDB banner, chairs and information
tables will already be set up. Work with the audio vendor and WO Mall Team to ensure
everything is in working order
(for the stage decoration) at 9 a.m.
HRDB information table with HRDB brochures and city promotional items will need to
be set up
Meet and greet the Keynote Speaker
Meet with Master of Ceremony to review program
Distribute MLK Day Celebration printed programs to attendees
