I have been a resident at Prairie Lake Reserve for over 10 years and live in the community across from the proposed townhome community on Ocoee Vista Parkway. I have concerns with their being only one entrance for this neighborhood on Ocoee Vista Parkway. With over 150 existing townhomes and an additional 78 units being built(in addition to the OFD substation at the entrance to Ocoee Vista Parkway), how will Ocoee ensure the traffic will be safe exiting and entering on Clarke Road? I know that it's in the master plan to have the road widen, but there is an immediate need and concern. At Ocoee Vista and Clarke, heading north, it begins to go down to one lane and cars are slowing up to turn right onto Ocoee Vista with no turn lane built on Clarke for Ocoee Vista. Also, cars are playing chicken with other cars leaving Ocoee Vista making a left southbound on Clarke. With an addition 78 units it will only exasperate the issue until Ocoee deals with the issue on Clarke. In my opinion, the project should not move forward until these issues are addressed. There are so many issues from the intersection from AD Mims to Ocoee Vista on Clarke. Thank you for your consideration.
