The property identified is parcel number 07-22-28-0000-00-054 The subject property is approximately 20 16 acres in size and is generally located at 1610 N Lakewood Avenue The proposed use is for the addition of a two-story high school building to add 288 students The table below references the future land uses, jurisdiction, existing land uses, and zoning classifications of the surrounding parcels Direction Future Land Use Zoning Classification Existing Land Use North Rural A-1 Oran a Count Agricultural and Single -Family East Rural A-1 (Orange Count Single -Family South Rural A-1 (Orange Count Agricultural and Single -Family West LDR (Low Density Residential) PUD Residential (Eagle Creek Subdivision Vacant Parcel ISSUE. Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners approve the Large -Scale Preliminary Site Plan for Innovation Montessori School for an addition of High School and to add 288 additional students? DISCUSSION. The Innovation Montessori School is currently located on 20 16 acres. The parcel consists of three buildings and includes 800 students in Pre-k through 8th grade In October of 2018, the school was able to purchase and combine via an annexation an additional 2.59 acres to the campus. The application for Phase 3 is a Large -Scale Preliminary Site Plan approval is to add a two-story High School with an increase of students to 288 The High School would be located within the 2 50 acres purchased in 2018 Onsite stormwater and 72 parking spaces will be provided An additional access point on to Fullers Cross Road is provided The new high school building will be two stories and will be similar to the existing building in architecture Stormwater retention will be provided within the new parcel Additional access through the site will be provided which will permit vehicles to enter via N Lakewood and exit on Fullers Cross Road.
