Department Director" ""5 City Manager: ~.~ --- Subject: FOOT Memorandum of Agreement, Contract# AM-626, Project 10# 413615-6-72-03 Background Summary: The existing contract between the Florida Department of Transportation and City of Ocoee for the routine maintenance of the State Lighting, Maintenance, and Compensation will expire on June 30, 2007. FDOT is requesting renewal of this contract at $24,259.05. This amount represents a 3% increase from previous contract period. The term of this contract is from July 1,2007 to June 30, 2008. Issue: Should the Honorable Mayor and the Board of City Commissioners approve renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement with FDOT (Contract # AM-626, Project ID # 413615-6-72-03) for the routine maintenance of the lighting on state highways in the amount of $24,259 .05? Recommendations Staff respectfully requests the Honorable Mayor and City Commission approves renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement (Contract # AM-626, Project 10 # 413615-6-72-03) between FDOT and City of Ocoee at $24,259.05; and authorize Mayor and City Clerk to execute the renewal agreement. The total compensation for Fiscal Year 07/08 paid under this Work Order is $24,259.05. This amount reflects a 3 % increase per unit cost from the previous year. The compensation period for this work order will begin from July 1, 2007, and expire June 30, 2008. Please execute and/or return the following documents directly to this office in the enclosed self- addressed envelope. Invoices for Fiscal Year 06/07 must be received no later than December 27,2007. Per the State Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement paragraph 2.c. which states: "Invoices may be submitted anytime after May 19th of the fiscal year in which the services were provided, but no later than 180 days after the end of the fiscal year. Payment shall be made in one lump sum as provided in paragraph 4 hereof.". A sample invoice is attached for your information.
