BACKGROUNDIDISCUSSION The Ocoee Fire Department has the opportunity to purchase reconditioned LIFEP AK 12 defibrillator that will expand our capabilities to place more units in the field. One unit has been purchased already, with another expected to arrive early in 2008 from a grant by Orange County EMS. The third unit will allow the Fire Department to have all three engines upgraded to ALS when staffing allows. Staff recommends the City Commission approve the purchase of the second LIFEP AK 12 from Dixie Medical Inc. 1
