Subject;- Notification .'Of Cumulative; Expenditure fors Contractor, Services :-Corporation (C:S;C.).
Exceeding $50K for Fiscal Year 20/21.
Background Summary:
The City and Ocoee Rentals Trust have been working to get several properties around the Hillcrest
Heights Area annexed into the City. Due to three of the properties located on 3rd Street not having access
to City water, the Utilities Department prepared a set of construction plans to extend water lines to this
area. This project will include extending the existing 6-inch water main on 2nd Street.to the intersection of
E. Silver Star Rd and 3rd Street and construction of approx. 400 linear feet of 4-inch water main on 3rd
Street.
During planning, it came to the City's attention that 3rd Street is not a road but an ingress/egress access
way through multiple properties. Ocoee Rentals Trust coordinated with_property owners to acquire needed
easements to allow for the construction of the 4-inch watermain on 3rd Street. This will give other properties
on 3rd Street eligibility to annex into the City and .gain access to City water. Funding for the project has
been added to through a mid -year budget adjustment with an approved cost of $32,245.00
Contractor Services Corporation (C.S.C.)- has recently completed projects for the City including the 8-inch
Water Main Extension for VMG Office Building and the E. Oakland Ave Water Main Relocation, another
project added through a mid -year budget adjustment. The total purchase order amount for these projects
totaled $22,655.00 and with the addition of the purchase order for the 3rd Street Water Main Extension
Project in the amount of $32,245.00, C.S.0 will have a cumulative expenditure of $54,909.00, exceeding
the $50K cumulative expenditure limit by $4,909.00 for Fiscal Year 20/21. C.S.0 has been approved to
complete the specified projects by the Assistant City Manager (see email attached).

Craig, as you know we have added a couple of projects to our work plan this year. They were the 3rd Street Water Line,
the connection for the VMG project on Silver Star and moving the Oakland Ave Water Line. We had gotten quotes for
these from Contractor Services to do the directional drill. We are ready to move forward on these projects,we would
like approval to use Contractor Services, who is prepared and ready to go to meet the deadlines on these projects. As
you know, two of these are to assist in development or annexations and the third is to keep us on schedule with City Hall
work as the line connection on Oakland has been rolled under the City Hall project. We are under deadlines on all of
these. For this reason,we would like to go with Contractor Services for all three of these projects. This will by-pass the
additional time needed to get additional quotes and keep us on schedule.
Please approve.

Hi, Cam.
I was about to put this requisition in the batch but I do not see other quotes attached, and I do
not see CSC on the Single Source list. For the amount of the requisition, two additional quotes
are required. If you have the quotes, please attach them to the requisition and let me know. If
not, please have Jamie send me an email with a quote waiver explanation.
Thank you,
