CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC COMMENTS CANVASSING OF VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOTS 1. BRIEFING BY CITY CLERK SIBBITT AND SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE 2. CERTIFY THE PUBLIC TEST RESULTS FROM MARCH 2, 2023 3. VOTE TO ACCEPT THE VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOTS ACCEPTED BY THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OFFICE: At their January 17, 2023, meeting the Ocoee City Commission approved to allow the Supervisor of Elections to open and run all vote-by-mail ballots through the tabular on Election Day that are not questionable. 4. REVIEW QUESTIONABLE OR PROTESTED VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOTS 5. PROCESSING THE VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOTS (through the tabulator) 6. DUPLICATING BALLOTS REJECTED BY THE TABULATOR AND PROCESSING DUPLICATED BALLOTS (If needed) 7. REVIEW UNOFFICIAL REPORT PROVIDED BY SOE 8. PROVISIONALS. In accordance with FS 101.048(1), allowing the voter “the right to present written evidence supporting his or her eligibility to vote to the Supervisor of Elections by not later than 5 p.m. on the second day following the election,” provisional ballots will be held unopened until the meeting is reconvened on Friday, March 17, 2023. If a voter is able to produce such evidence before March 17, 2023, at 5 p.m., these ballots must be counted using the tabulator; they may NOT be hand counted. 9. The Post Logic and Accuracy Test is conducted by a Supervisor of Elections staff member. If there is a recount, it would occur on Friday, March 17, 2023 at noon. 10. SELECT CONTEST FOR POST ELECTIONS MANUAL AUDIT. The post-Election Manual Audit will occur on March 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. ADJOURN PLEASE NOTE: IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTES 286.0105: ANY PERSON WHO DESIRES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION AT THIS MEETING WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND FOR THIS PURPOSE MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE WHICH INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS BASED. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 286.26: PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES NEEDING ASSISTANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THESE PROCEEDINGS SHOULD CONTACT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, 1 N.
