Special Session Held April 13, 2023
CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Lewis called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM, in the Commission Chambers of
Ocoee City Hall, located at 1 North Bluford Avenue, Ocoee, FL 34761.
Chairperson Lewis opened the floor, Member Meeks led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Member
Moyer led the Invocation. Recording Clerk Maldonado called roll and declared a quorum
present.

Chairperson Lewis, and Members Braunskill, Holt, Meeks, Moyer, Mellen, and Garay
Also present: Sergeant Beck, and Recording Clerk Maldonado

DISCUSSION ON FUNDING TO PUCHASE TENT - -- -- -- ---- - - -- - - -- - - - ---
Chairperson Lewis opened the discussion and Sergeant Beck provided the Board the current
estimate from Go Match Up, discussion followed.
Member Mellen made a motion to utilize the allocated reserves. Commissioner Brinson approved
to cover the purchase ofthe tent with sides and current CACOPD logo for the amount of$1.335. 00
phis fee associated with shipping hefore learing ofce� seconded by Member Holt. The motion
carried unanimously.
Member Mover made a motion to purchase the 811 table cloth with the current CACOPD logo
born Go Match Up for 322 00 Plus fee associated with shipping seconded by Member Lewis The
motion carried unanimously.
A ember Meeks made a motion to purchase from Positive Promotions the following items*500
silicone bracelets with CACOPD monogram and'or logo $255 Oa'$35 00 for set charge and 500
pencils with CACOPD monogram and,6r logo for $150 00,120. 00 total amount of $460. 00 plus
any fee associated with shippingseconded by Member Garay. The motion carried unanimously
Member Mellen made a motion to remove the Pens from the promotional items purchase seconded
by Member Garay. The motion carried unanimoush,
DISCUSSION ON PARTICIPATION ON THE COMMUNITY PICNIC
Chair Lewis requested that an email be sent out to the Board to confirm who is attending the
Community Picnic and participating at the CACOPD table. Community Affairs will bring the
equipment and supplies, and the Board will set up the table.
