How much iotheir salary now what does it cover - when was the last time it was evaluated - are we competitive with other cities?
We understand that this is not a paid position; however, a fair compensation should be made to cover basic expenses to perform
their duties.
Article IV:
Recommended term 3 years with fair / cost of living annual increases; perhaps, a bonus structure as well. It
could take 1 year for a new city manager to ramp up to the job ... we should be competitive with or better than
other cities.
C21-The residency within 1 year with some flexibility to extend if the city manager notifies the commission
within 90 days of the expiration of the 1 year that additional time is needed to complete the residency in
Ocoee.
I hope these recommendations are in line with the general consensus of the board.
