Subject: Update on Seventh Amendment to Ground Lease Agreement with Forest Lake Golf
Club, LLLP and Authorization to Release a Request for Proposal for a Permanent Operator.

Background Summary:
On February 4, 2025, the Ocoee City Commission voted 4-1 to approve City staff and the City Attorney’s office
to participate in pre-suit mediation to resolve the alleged defaults by Forest Lake Golf Club. Mediation was
held on February 26, 2025, and resulted in a mediated settlement agreement which was partially formalized in
writing on February 26, 2025, and is subject to City Commission approval. Council for both parties are
currently formalizing the final draft of a Seventh Amendment to the Ground Lease which will formalize the
entirety of the agreement.
The City Attorney will provide the City Commission an update on the Seventh Amendment to Ground Lease
Agreement. Additionally, staff is seeking authorization to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a
permanent golf operator.
