Background Summary:
The City of Ocoee Police Department and the School Board of Orange County, Florida ("GBOC"), entered into
a School Resource Officer Agreement that became effective on July 1, 2025, and continues through June 30,
2O27.The SB(]C therefore wishes to execute this addendum, which shall be effective upon execution by the
parties through June 30, 2027. The addendum states that when SROs are working at an assigned campus,
they shall electronically sign in to the "Daily GSC)Attendance Log" to ooaiot8BC)C in complying with the
requirements OfSection 1OOW.12.Florida Statutes. The Ocoee Police Department requires nOadditional
equipment purchases tOcomply with this addendum.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners approve and agree to the requirements of the
Addendum to the School Resource Agreement?
Recommendations:
Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners approve and agree tothe requirements
of the Addendum to the School Resource Agreement.

Addendum to School Resource Officer Agreement
The City of Ocoee Police Department and the School Board of Orange County, Florida ("SBOC")
entered into the School Resource Officer Agreement that became effective July 1, 2025, through
June 30, 2027(the "Agreement"). The Parties therefore wish to execute this addendum.
("Addendum") that shall be effective upon execution by the Parties through June 30, 2027.
SROs when working at an assigned campus shall sign into the "Daily SSO Attendance Log" to
assist SBOC in complying with the requirements of Section 1006.12, Florida Statute.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Agreement to be executed by the
undersigned persons as duly authorized.
