(Acting City Clerk Parks) Background Summary: Members of the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department (CACOPD) serve three-year terms. The Resolution creating the Board allows no more than nine (9) members. Currently, the Board has six (6) members. The terms of Members Robery Garay, Warren Lewis, Brad Lomneck, and Jason Mellen expire January 2026. Members Garay and Lewis have expressed interest in serving another three-year term. In 2025, both Member Lewis and Member Garay attended three (3) of the three (3) scheduled meetings. There are no other applications on file. Issue: Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commission reappoint Member Garay and Member Lewis to the CACOPD to serve another three-year term ending January 2029? Recommendations: Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commission reappoint Member Garay and Member Lewis to the CACOPD to serve another three-year term ending January 2029.
