Bluford Avenue Ocoee, Florida July 24, 2025 MINUTES 6:15 PM - CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Lewis at 6:15 pm in the Commission Chambers of City Hall located at 1 N. Bluford Avenue, Ocoee. Chair Lewis and Member Mellen led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, followed by the invocation given by Chair Lewis. Recording Clerk Maldonado performed roll call and declared a quorum present. Also Present: Commissioner Kennedy, Lt, lannuzzi, Sgt. Coleman, K9 Ofc. Temples, K9 Ofc Edwards, Administrative Assistant Decruiz, and Recording Clerk Maldonado 1 . Your responsibilities under the law when faced with voting on a measure in which you have a conflict of interest will vary greatly depending on whether you hold an elective or appointive position. Each elected or appointed local officer also MUST ABSTAIN from knowingly voting on a measure which would inure to the special gain or loss ofa principal (other than m government agency) by whom he or she is retained (including the parent, subsidiary, or sibling organization of a principal by which he or she is retained); to the special private gain or loss of a relative; or to the special private gain or loss of business an000iate. Commissioners of community redevelopment agencies (CRAa) under Sec. 183.356 or 163.357. FS, and officers ofindependent special tax districts elected on a ono-aom, one -vote basis are not prohibited from voting in that oapooib/ For purposes ofthis law, a^ndodVu includes only the officer's father, mother, son, daughter, husband, wife, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law.
