Subject: Approval of the Rocket Chimp Office Utility Easement. (Development Engineer
Keaton)
Background Summary:
The Rocket Chimp Office project is located in Commission District 1, on the Northwest corner of Silverstar Road
and North Bluford Ave (Across from Ocoee Plaza). As part of the Rocket Chimp Office project, water and
sewer service lines were installed to provide domestic water, irrigation, and sewer service to the project. As a
staff condition of site plan approval, the development agreed to provide a utility easement around the public
portion of the water and sewer service lines located on the development parcel. The easement will allow the
Utilities Department to access, operate, and maintain its utilities. See the attached utility easement document.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commission accept the Utility Easement as provided by Rocket Chimp
Office development?
Recommendations:
Staff recommends the Honorable Mayor and City Commission approve and authorize the Mayor to execute
the Utility Easement for the Rocket Chimp Office development.
