March 17, 2025 MINUTES 6:15 PM
• CALL TO ORDER
Chair Rainer called the meeting to order at 6:15 PM, in theCommission Chambers of City Hall.
Recording Clerk Shaw called roll and determined a quorum was not present.
Present: Chair Rainer, Vice -Chair Lomneck and Member Applegate
Absent: Members Graham, Hassan, and Salhab
Also present: Commissioner Wilsen, Parks and Leisure Services Director Johnson, and
Recording Clerk Shaw
As there was not a quorum, Chair Rainer briefed the Board on the following events:
• St. Patrick's Day Block Party
• Youth Basketball season
• Little League Baseball
• Girls Youth Volleyball
• Summer Camp program
Parks and Leisure Services Director Johnson addressed the Board's questions related to
upcoming events. There was a brief discussion on the May 9th and Time Capsule events.

Chair Rainer announced the following upcoming events:
• Chick-fil-A 5K and Family Fun Day on April 12th
• Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Easter Eggstravaganza on April I 91h
• Centennial Event on May 9th
• Swim lessons
• Youth basketball registration

Chair Rainer highlighted that the air conditioner repair should start within the next 10 days, and
the installation of the new playground at Jim Beech Recreation Center should start soon as well.
