Subject: Approval of Orange County's Reappointment to the Community Redevelopment
Agency Board. (CRA Administrator Vaca)
Background Summary:
Pursuant to Section 163.357(1)(c), Florida Statutes, the governing board of the City of Ocoee Community
Redevelopment Agency (CRA) shall consist of the five members of the Ocoee City Commission plus two
individuals appointed by the City Commission. In accordance with Orange County Resolution No. 2006-M-22,
one of the appointed members shall be nominated by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners.
The four-year term of Orange County nominated member Randy June has concluded. On March 24, 2026, the
Board of County Commissioners took official action to nominate Randy June for reappointment to the CRA
Board with a term expiring December 31, 2029.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commission reappoint Randy June to the CRA Board as the Orange
County nominee for a term ending December 31, 2029?
Recommendations:
Staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commission reappoint Randy June to the
CRA Board as the Orange County nominee for a term ending December 31, 2029.
