Subject: Continuance Request for Holiday Inn Express West Road
Mr. Rumor,
As you will recall, the first time this was brought to the attention of the Board, we were
asking for a a extended stay hotel, which brought community push-back and a denial,
During the discussions of the meeting, it appeared that the Extended Stay was the
reason for the push-back, so we came back with a standard Holiday Inn Express.
Evidently, due to the push back from the residents, regarding the Hotel use it was not the
extended stay part that the was the problem, but a hotel in general. Given this new
push-back by the community, and the limited time to prepare for the Commission
Meeting. We respectfully request a continuance for next Tuesday's Commission meeting
in order to have a Community Meeting.
I will contact you, in once we are prepared for the Community Meeting so the City can
Schedule same.
Please let me know if this email is acceptable for this request, or if you need a letter.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
