Following the recent severe freeze that impacted Central Florida, many of the original landscape plantings throughout our community’s common areas were significantly damaged or lost. These plants were originally selected by the developer and have proven to be particularly vulnerable to cold temperatures. The Greens at Forest Lake HOA is undertaking a landscape restoration project to replace these damaged plants with more freeze-tolerant azaleas and resilient foliage better suited to Florida’s climate. The goal is to restore the appearance of our community while improving the long-term sustainability of our landscaping. The total cost of this project will significantly exceed the amount available through the Neighborhood Matching Grant. Our community has already approved funding and is committed to completing the work. This grant would help offset a portion of the cost while supporting our efforts to enhance the appearance and long-term resilience of our shared spaces. We appreciate the City of Ocoee’s continued investment in neighborhood improvements and thank you for considering our application. Sincerely, The Residents of Greens at Forest Lake Page 34 of 576 02 01 03 Grant Application HOA Meeting Minutes Site Photos 04 05 Site Diagram Budget Table of Contents 06 Quotes Page 35 of 576 Page 36 of 576 Page 37 of 576 Page 38 of 576 HOA Meeting Minutes Page 39 of 576 Site Photos Page 40 of 576 Site Diagram Below is a sample of the sites where the new plants will be installed.
