Subject: Approval of a Partial Release of the Performance Surety for Ocoee Village Center
Offsite Potable-Reclaim Cross Connection. (Development Engineer Keaton)
Background Summary:
The subject property is located within a public right-of-way at the Northeast Corner of the intersection of North
Lakewood Ave and 2nd Ave. The developer will complete infrastructure improvements, including a potable-
reclaim water cross-connection and associated landscaping.
The Ocoee Village Developer’s Consortium provided the City with a $100,000 cash escrow for installing the
Potable-Reclaim Cross-Connection post-offsite development. To complete the remaining repairs, the
developer is requesting the release of $61,880.76 from the Escrow fund. With this partial release, the
remaining balance of the existing Escrow fund will be $38,119.24.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commission approve a partial release of $61,880.76 from the Escrow
fund for the Performance Surety for Ocoee Village Center Offsite Potable-Reclaim Cross Connection?
Recommendations:
The Development Services Department recommends the Honorable Mayor and City Commission approve a
partial release of $61,880.76 from the Escrow fund for the Performance Surety for Ocoee Village Developer’s
Consortium for Ocoee Village Center Offsite Potable-Reclaim Cross Connection repairs.
