Subject: Notification of Cumulative Expenditures with AC Signs, LLC and Approval to
Continue Utilizing AC Signs, LLC as a Single Source Vendor. (Recreation Operations Manager
Hogan)
Background Summary:
Parks and Leisure Services utilized AC Signs, LLC during fiscal year 2025-2026 to design and construct the
prototype Unity Park sign and the 100-year time capsule. Parks and Leisure Services would like to continue
using AC Signs, LLC to maintain a consistent identity across the park system. Phase 1 includes signage for
eight (8) primary parks, followed by Phase 2, which will include seven (7) neighborhood parks.
In accordance with city purchasing requirements, staff is presenting this item to the City Commission for
notification of the cumulative expenditures and authorization to continue utilizing AC Signs, LLC and add them
as a single source vendor for this signage.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commission acknowledge cumulative fiscal year 2025-2026
expenditures with AC Signs, LLC in excess of the City Manager's purchasing authority and approve continued
utilization of AC Signs, LLC and add them as a single source vendor for this signage?
Recommendations:
Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commission acknowledge the cumulative fiscal year
2025–2026 expenditures with AC Signs, LLC, which exceeds the City Manager's purchasing authority and
approve AC Signs, LLC as a single source vendor. Staff also recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City
Commission authorize the City Manager to approve changes to the agreement up to the limit of his purchasing
authority for each change order.

Financial Impacts:
New park signage was funded through the Parks and Leisure Services capital budget under Job# P000412 GL
317-572-10-6302 and processed under existing budget authority.
Sufficient funding is available within the Parks and Leisure Services park signage capital budget for work
performed under this agreement. Future expenditures will be subject to budget availability and approval in
accordance with the City's purchasing policies and procedures.
