Chair Rainer called the meeting to order at 6:07 PM, in the Commission Chambers of City Hall.
Recording Clerk Shaw called roll and determined a quorum present. Chair Rainer led the
Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
Present: Chair Rainer, Vice Chair Lomneck (arrived at 6:22 PM), Members Graham, Salhab,
and Cummings
Absent: Member Applegate
Also present: Commissioner Wilsen, Parks and Leisure Services Director Johnson, and
Recording Clerk Shaw
• APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Minutes of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting held on September 15, 2025
Motion for Approval of September 15, 2025 Minutes: Moved by Member Graham,
Seconded by Member Salhab; Motion carried 4-0, with Vice Chair Lomneck absent.
• OLD BUSINESS
Chair Rainer briefly updated the Board on the following events:
1. Halloween Howl Night
2. Jolly Jamboree
3. Evening with Santa
4. Garden Market and Car Show
5. Ocoee Music Festival
NEW BUSINESS
1. Allocation of Funds
Chair Jane noted that there were no new items requiring allocation of funds, except for the funds
approved at the September 15th meeting to sponsor two families (up to four members each) for
the Evening with Santa event.
2. HighLIGHTing Ocoee Drive -Along Dates
After a brief discussion, the Board reached consensus to hold Drive -Along on December 11th
and December 18th.

Parks and Leisure Services Director shared that Recording clerk Shaw will email Board
Members to request volunteer availability for both events.

Chair Rainer briefed the Board on the following programs and events:

• Ocoee Little League Baseball
• Girls Youth Volleyball
• Youth Basketball
• Childcare
• Pool
- Recording Clerk Shaw noted that there will be no meeting in January, as the scheduled d
falls on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and City Hall will be closed. The Board proposed tj
alternative dates: January 12, 2026, or January 26, 2026.
