Background Summary:
At the August 21st City Commission meeting, Dr. Jim Moyer, the Orange County Soil and Water Conservation
District 2 Supervisor, requested that the City provide space for two hours each month in order to offer one-on-
one assistance to City residents regarding soil and water resource matters of interest. Staff would be able to
coordinate and schedule a time with Dr. Moyer at the Tom Ison Senior and Veterans Center.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commission approve the request by Dr. Jim Moyer to use the Tom Ison
Center for one-on-one meetings once a month for a two-hour time slot regarding soil and water resource
matters of interest?
Recommendations:
Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commission approve the request by Dr. Jim Moyer to
use the Tom Ison Center for one-on-one meetings once a month for a two-hour time slot regarding soil and
water resource matters of interest.
