Home My WebLink About2007-006 Parks and Recreation Fees and Charges for the Use of Parks RESOLUTION NO. 2007-006 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA RELATING TO PARKS AND RECREATION; ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE USE OF PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES, RECREATION PROGRAMS, AND SWIMMING POOL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee desires to establish a schedule of fees and charges for the use of the City's parks and recreation facilities, recreation programs, and swimming pool. WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the residents ofOcoee to adopt such schedule. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Authoritv. The City Commission of the City ofOcoee has the authority to adopt this Resolution pursuant to Article II, Section C-8 (X) of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee. SECTION 2: Parks and Recreation Fees and Charees The City adopts and approves the Parks and Recreation Fees and Charges schedule as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. SECTION 3. Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion hereto. The adult non-resident fee is a one time annuaUee that may be applied to more than one adult recreation program in the same period of time (one year) in which it is valid. 3. Participants in any Youth Sport Partnership (Little League, Pop Warner Football, Ocoee Youth Soccer Association, and All-Stars Soccer) shall be required to pay a fee for each participant residing outside the Ocoee city limits.
