Dear Mr. Frank:
As you know, the Woman's Club of Ocoee is a well-known service organization in the Ocoee Community.
We will celebrate our 84th birthday in February. Over the years, the Woman's Club has established a place
for itself within the area through it's' participation with local schools and other organizations. We are
involved in Partners in Education with Ocoee Elementary School and sponsor the Creative Expressions
Contest in Ocoee, Clarcona-Ocoee, Spring Lake and Citrus Elementary schools, as well as an outstanding
student award to one 8th grade student at Ocoee Middle School. This award is based on scholarship,
leadership and citizenship. Contributions of money, as well as personal items, are made to Hacienda Girls
Ranch for abused and dependent girls in Melboume. The Ranch is a Florida Federation of Woman's Club
project. Other contributions are made to the Y.M.CA Scholarship Fun for a needy child to attend summer
camp; R.O.C.K. (Reach out to Cancer Kids); HOBY (Hugh O'Brien Youth); sponsor a representative to Girls
State in Tallahassee through the American Legion Auxiliary; and sponsor a Political Forum for the City of
Ocoee candidates, prior to the local elections.
Last year we added and will continue to include two additional goals to the list: 1) the School Nurse
Program, and 2) Children's Cancer Survivor College Scholarship Fund. The Club also contributes to other
worthwhile causes on an individual basis. This information may help you to better understand our
objectives.
In order to accomplish the above, we must have fundraisers. The annual Birthday Luncheon 1 Fashion
Show is our main event.
A limited number of opportunities for sponsorship in our program are being offered for the 84th Annual
Birthday Luncheon and Fashion Show on Saturday, March 1, 2008. You are being offered a premium
placement in this program with a Silver Sponsorship ad. This Silver Sponsorship ad is available for
$250.00, which includes sponsorship coverage on the inside front or back cover of the program and two (2)
complimentary tickets to the Birthday Luncheon.
A half-page sponsorship is available for $125.00 or you may wish to choose a smaller yet impressive ad
such as a business card space for $25, a personal size for birthday, wedding anniversary, congratulation's
wishes in a size (1 %" x 2 %") for $30, and a slightly larger size (3 %" x 2 1/2''') for $50.
Your time and consideration to our request is greatly appreciated. The deadline for submitting a
sponsorship is February 20. You may contact me at 407-721-7263 or e-mail atilewisO@earthlink.netif
there are any questions.
Sincerely,
Judie Lewis
President
