The CGRB agreed to elect a Vice Chair at the July 23, 2008 meeting. Member Wilsen inquired about the Ocoee Police Department D.A.R.E. program receiving a $500 grant. Mrs. Wilsen stated she believes a city department that receives funding in the city budget should not be eligible to receive a community grant. Staff Liaison Wright was directed to find out if D.A.R.E. has a non-profit status, and to confirm if the schools and libraries are listed as non- profit, or are they listed as tax exempt?
