MINUTES OF THE OCOEE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING
HELD JANUARY 24, 1984
PRESENT: Commissioners Hager, Cook, Rodgers; Mayor Ison,
City Manager Burgess, City Attorney Rhodes, and
Deputy Clerk Louloudis

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Ison called the special meeting to order
at 7:23 p.m.
APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS, INC
Commissioner Rodgers motioned to approve the agreement, Comm.
Cook seconded the motion, and the vote was unanimous in favor.
SANITATION ORDINANCE - RATE ADJUSTMENTS
Comm. Rodgers stated he felt Section 4 of the Ordinance ought to
read, "Sanitation service billing shall be quarterly." Comm.
Rodgers continued all reference to water and water meters should
be deleted. Comm. Rodgers made a motion to approve the
Ordinance corrected as stated, Comm. Cook seconded the motion
and the vote carried unanimously in favor. The first reading
of the Sanitation Ordinance will be February 7, 1984, the next
regular scheduled Commission Meeting.
FOREST OAKS - #4 POTABLE WATER SUPPLY AGREEMENT
Mr. Jeff Fuqua, and Mr. Wayne Rich, presented the water agree-
ment signed by ReA (Residential Communities of America). Mr.
Rich explained two clarifications made on the signed agreement.

tax. II 2.) Page 10 - Section 16, "Subject to that certain
unrecorded agreement between "DEVELOPERI', the parties hereto
agree for themsel ves,. . . . II
After much discussion, on the clarification noted, Comm. Cook
motioned to accept the agreement as clarified and authorized
Mayor Ison to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of
Ocoee. Comm. Hager seconded the motion and the vote carried
unanimously.
CONSUMPTIVE USE PERMIT FEBRUARY 7, 1984
Mr. Burgess, City Manager, suggested that someone attend the
meeting in Palatka on February 7, 1984, at four olclock p.m.
to represent the City of Ocoee and answer any questions that
might arise, since the Permit is essential for the Water
Agreement. The Commission asked Mr. Burgess, City Manager,
to attend the meeting, and Mr. Ken Griffin, Assistant City
Manager, would fill in for Mr. Burgess at the next regular
scheduled Commission Meeting on February 7, 1984.
Motion was made to adjourn the special meeting at 8:13 p.m..
