Absent: Commissioners Lyle; Rodgers, and City Attorney Rhodes. Lakes Peach and Moxie Drainage - Gee & Jensen, Consulting Engineers I Mr. Pete Sushinsky representing Gee & Jensen, Consulting Engineers, asked the Commissioners for consent to apply for concept permits. He explained further that whether the Commission decides to go with pressure pumping or gravity flow or both, these permits are necessary to begin correcting the problem. The cost of permiting is $4,600.00, and within sixty (60) days we should have the permits in hand. Mr. Sushinsky stated he would apply to Orange County Pollution Control Board first. We must also apply to St. Johns, DER, EPA, and DOT. John Bateman, director of Orange County Po1ution Control Board, stated that they would be concerned about the water quality of Lakes Peach and Moxie compared to the water quality of Starke Lake, when considering our permit. Mr. Sushinsky suggested the best solution would be to have a gravity flow system between Lakes Peach and Moxie and have a pressure pump system from Moxie to Starke Lake. Phase IIA - $4,600.00 The meeting ended at 7:03 p.m.. ~e~ Mayor ATTEST: ~ ~U J I r: -. (, ... (.
