MINUTES OF THE FINAL PUBLIC HEARING, BUDGET FOR FlY 84-85. SEPTEMBER 10. 1984
PRESENT:
MAYOR ISON, COMMISSIONERS COOK. HAGER
CITY MANAGER GRIFFIN, DEPUTY CLERK LOULOUDIS
ABSENT
COMMISSIONERS LYLE AND RODGERS
Mayor Ison called the meeting to order at 7:GO p.m.. He asked if there
were any citizens with any comments. There were none.
City Manager, Griffin, stated that, through the guidance of the City
Attorney, he had a few items he needed to bring before the Commission
at this time. He stated that they were a ordinance pertaining to the
millage rate for ad valorum taxes, that was passed a few weeks ago; sec-
ondly an ordinance that pertains to adopting the Budget for Fiscal Year
84/85; and the third was an ordinance that adressed the Federal Revenue
Sharing only.
Mayor Ison stated. since there were no citizens, in the audiance. here
for the Budget Hearing, that perhaps they should continue the meeting
and go on to have the ordinances brought out and acted upon.
Commissioner Hager moved to have the ad valorum millage rate of 3.14.
for the fiscal year 84/85, ordinance passed. Commissioner Cook second-
ed the motion. City Manager Griffin read the ordinance by title only.
The vote was unanimous.
Commissioner Cook moved to read the ordinance adopting the Federal Rev-
enue Sharing budget for the fiscal year 84/85. by title only. Commis-
sioner Hager seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.

Commissioner Hager moved to read the ordinance for the City Budget for
the fiscal year 84/85, by title only. Commissioner Cook seconded the
motion. The vote was unanimous.

Cook moved to adjourn the meeting and Commissioner Hager
motion. The meeting was adjourned at 8:44 pm m
