PRESENT: Mayor Ison, Commissioners Johnson, Dabbs and Hager, City Manager Ryan, City Planner Wagner, City Engineer Kelley, Public Works Director Occhiuzzo and City Clerk Catron. ABSENT: Commissioner Bateman was out of town. APPROVAL OF PUD FINAL MASTER PLAN & PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN, SILVER GLEN (U. S. HoMes) City Planner Wagner explained that the Preliminary Master PIaI'I had beeI'I approved fe.r this pre'Ject, fecr"merly kne.wr, as Ste.ry Pre.perties, e.t-, Octe.ber 7, 1986. The basic chat-Iges from the plan previously submitted and the new plan were that now the flood plain was behind some of the lots and the retention ponds were closer to the lake. There was some discussion on pumping the lake and if there was a drainage well for the lake. Mr. Blount, engineer for U. S. Mayor Ison also stated that there were some changes that they had requested on the 1986 plan that he did not see in this plan. e There was then discussion between U. S. Johr,se.y, we.rk Dabbs moved that the two engineers get out the Ce.mmi ssi e.y,' s areas of ce.y,cer!"" seconded and the motion carried e DISCUSSION AND DIRECTION REGARDING ROAD IMJ:\ROVEMENT PROJECTS City Manager Ryan explained that for purposes of allocating the proposed bond monies, the Commission needed to designate specific dollar amounts 'for the proJects/improvements that wet"'e to be doy,e. City Enineer Kelley explained that the proposed alignment for Bowness Road had been shifted 50 feet to the west dye to the route chose 'for the beltway. The Commission had asked that street/road improvements be studied fe.r: Hwy. 437/438, Silver Star/Frar,kliy" Be.wr,ess Road, and McKey Street. Staff explained that now with the addition of Planatation Sysco on the old Belknap property, we we'l..lld y,eed to improve the i y,tersect ie,y, of StOI^Y al',d Kissimmee. Mayor 1son reminded them that he had also requested the Palm Drive iy,tersectiol'~ be impt~c,ved al",d th.::lt Palm Drive be realigned. This would take care of those improvements the COMmission wanted done and they had already included $300,000.00 for the McKey Street imprc.vemey,t s. The Cc.mrni ssioy, agr"eed to desi gnate the moines for the McKey Street improvements and the Bowness Road Prc'Ject, which as they had discussed wC'\.lld gc. from Palm Drive to St c.ry Road.
