.- Prooeedings of AdjournJQ_ Meeting
Held December 20:, ~~.
The tieeting was called to order by A.M.Clark, .there being present:
A.M. Clarke, B.A.Minor, Olyde H.Flewelling, C.r.Farmer, R.F.Whitaker.
The minutes of the previous meeting held on December 17, 1923,
were read and approved.
The following Ordinances were passed by the Oouncil; aldermen
voting for the ordinances: A.M. Clarke, B.A.Minor, Olyde H.Flewelling,
O.J.Farmer, R.F.Whitaker; voting against, none:
Ordinance No.1. An Ordinanoe Prescribing the Form and Regulating
the Passage of Ordinanoes by the Counoi1 of the Town of Ocoe..
Ordinance No.2. An Ordinanoe Regulating Time, Place and Pro-
cedure of Meetings of Oounci1 of Town of Oooee.
Ordinanoe No.3. An Ordinanoe Providing for Conector of taxes,
Assessor and Treasurer of Town of Oooee.
Ordinanoe No.4. An Ordinance Regulating the Compensation of
Officers of the Town of Oooee.
Ordinance No.5. An ordinance prohibiting, manufacture, sale,
exchange, transportation of intoxicating liquors etc.
Ordinance No.6. An Ordinance to Regulate Speed of Motor
Vehioles in the Town of Ocoee.
Ordinance No.7. An ordinance regulating the dispensation
of trash,re:fu.s e etc, sweeping trash am refuse into
streets.
Motion was made by R.F.Whitaker, seoonded by C.J.Farmer, and
unanimously oarried, that the Olerk be instruoted to obtain a plat or
map showing territory of Town of Oooee.
Motion was made and unanimously oarried that the Clerk purchase
neoessary stationery and supplies.
J.Waits, marshall, tendered his resignation as marshall of Town
of Ocoee; and resolution was passed that the Mayor be requested to
appoint R.A.Rewi. as marshall.
Motion was made and unanimously carried that the President of Counoi1
make arrangements for plaoing of speed signs in the proper looation.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
