The council asked Haguire & Hawthol'ne ap.d Hbyjle Pounds,
respecively, for a thirty days extention oWcertain agre ements
~~th reference to granting a franchise to the above parties
on :B'ebruary 18th, 1924. The result being that Hoyle Iounds
was vaIling to grant a thirty days extention on water franchise
but Uaguire & Eawthorne refused to give a thirt y daye extehtion
on the Light mg franchis e VIi thout further advise from their
r epresenative Mr. Hatthews.
Clark 17a8 instructed to post notices about over the 'llovm
for a mass moeting to be held l.fonday night at 8:00 PM o'clock
